VOLUNTEER?

Get outside and spend time caring for, feeding and interacting with our herd. We offer a comprehensive education programme to help volunteers become accomplished equine caretakers, which requires consistency and keen attention to safety. Grooming and handling are rewards for this hardworking group.

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE

For those looking for outside farm work, come help usa keep our Rescue in summit condition. There'southward always lots to practise on our 51 acres: from fence repair, edifice upkeep, pasture harrowing and gardening to plumbing, electrical and vehicle maintenance (feel is a plus).

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

Assist out with indoor tasks such as filing, donor mailings, special event preparation and light computer work. Writing and organization skills are helpful, and your impact is felt throughout the entire community.

• All barn chore shifts run two-3 hours per week. We inquire for a commitment of one day/time per week for at least three months. Infrequent days off are no trouble.
• CHR hosts two barn shifts daily to feed and care for the horses: 8–11am and 3–5:30pm.
• Scheduling for Facilities Maintenance and Administrative volunteers is flexible, although we do yet ask for a regular weekly time delivery between Tuesday and Sat.
• Tour guide volunteers piece of work on weekends only.
